Lead Return Policy

Valid Reasons for Returning Leads:

  • Someone that is not an adult has filled out the form (under age 18).
  • The person listed on the lead does not reside at the phone numbers provided, or the phone number has been disconnected
  • The person/lead is not the home owner, is renting, or the property is a mobile home.
  • Leads which are clearly invalid and have slipped through our cleaning process (i.e. Mickey Mouse, Homer Simpson, etc.)
  • Leads that are duplicate leads previously received from Referred Local Inc.
  • The person claims they have never filled out the form or given Referred Local Inc. information.
  • The person listed is a contractor, do-it-yourselfer who only wants to purchase the product and install it themselves.

Things to note:  There is no guideline for the number/sq. footage, etc. of particular project. As we charge the same for a lead regarding low number of products/sq. footage, etc. as we do for larger ones.  Also, a customer looking for a particular brand of product does not qualify as a bad lead as we cannot control that.

Lead Return Time Frame
All leads eligible for credit must be sent to sherry@referredlocal.com , with “lead return” in the subject line.  Please provide the lead information and reason for lead credit request within two business days of being sent the lead.  Any lead deemed bad will be issued a replacement lead.  Funds will not be credited.

 Referred Local Inc. verifies each returned lead to ensure the validity for which it is returned.  Should Referred Local Inc. determine that a client has abused the terms of the lead refund policy, that client is subject to immediate account closure.

Referred Local Inc. values feedback from its customers.  If you feel that you are receiving less than quality products let us know so we can work together to resolve the issue.

Referred Local Inc. will work with all clients in order to determine if a lead is a viable return.  We understand that there are a variety of reasons why a lead may be returned, however, any leads that are returned based on a sales issue (i.e. “call back in a few months”, “I need to speak with my husband/wife”, “The phone number is valid, but I am having trouble reaching them.”, “I am no longer/not interested”, etc.)  are not considered refundable and will not be issued as credit.

Account Cancellations:

Should it be determined that you would like to cancel your account, at any time, with Referred Local Inc. you must submit a written notice of cancellation by email to sherry@referredlocal.com with “account cancellation” in the subject line.  Your cancellation will be processed within one week after receipt.  Any leads that have been credited to your account will remain in your account and will not be refunded.

If you decided to re enroll, your company will be put back in at the bottom of our system.  Depending on the amount of contractors in your particular category you may not receive the same amount of leads as before or any leads at all until there are openings and your company can be moved up in our system.
